Did Neanderthals and Modern Humans Share a Common Gene Pool? Dr. David A. Dewitt
Who were the Neandertals? Dumb brutes or our relatives? Their existence is a challenge to evolutionists and progressive creationists. But geneticist Dr. David DeWitt shows that Neandertals were our brothers, descended from the same gene pool as Adam’s other descendents. Dr. David A. DeWitt earned a Ph.D. in neuroscience from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is an associate professor of biology at Liberty University (Lynchburg, Va.) and is the associate director of the Center for Creation Studies at Liberty University. His research has focused on Alzheimer’s disease, and he has written a number of articles for peer-reviewed journals such as Brain Research and Experimental Neurology. Dr. Dewitt has written articles and given many presentations on the creation/evolution debate.
