Be Not Afraid features fourteen Christian Celtic songs that span three millennia. The oldest, ‘The Hymn of St. Columba’, was written in the 6th Century and has been sung at the burial of every Scottish king since then. ‘The Lord’s Prayer’ is sung to the original tune for which Robert Burns wrote the words of ‘Auld Lang Syne’, in the 18th Century. ‘Light of Light’ is Kirsten’s own song, written for this album.
