Tex Ritter is remembered as much for his music as for his films. He began his movie career in the mid-thirties as a singing cowboy. In this epdisode set during the War between the States, Union Army Lieutenant Steve Nolan (Tex Ritter) and Corporal Banjo Bonner (Fuzzy Knight) are assigned to trail and capture El Vengador/The Avenger, an outlaw leader whose band is stealing herds of wild horses before they can be delivered on contract to the U.S. Army.
