Some work to rest. Others rest to work. Most of us, however, find rest work. In our hurried and harried age, slowing down puts us further behind in the rat race. God, however, tells us that His yoke is easy, His burden is light. He calls us to be still, and know that He is God. He promises to lead us into the promised land, where we enter into our rest. In this conversation we consider the fullness of rest as presented to us in God’s Word, calling all of us to cease from our labors, and to rest in the Lord of the Sabbath. Take a chair, take it easy, and join the conversation. After that, take a nap. It will do you good.
