The Holy War John Bunyan
In 1682, John Bunyan published the inspiring companion to The Pilgrim’s Progress saga. The Holy War is a parable which tells the story of the fall and redemption of mankind as only John Bunyan could. El Shaddai once ruled over the great city Mansoul, but was betrayed through Ear Gate and Eye Gate into the hands of Diabolus. In the end, the city is recaptured by Emmanuel’s army and Diabolus is driven out of the city. Veteran storyteller George Sarris brilliantly narrates The Holy War such that you and your children will feel as though you have truly met Captain Anything, Mr. Prejudice, Miss Humblemind, Lord Understanding, and the many other characters of this classic allegory.
