Ellen Vernier is 15 years old, and lives a joyous and adventure-filled life in Texas with her parents and five siblings. She is interested in all areas of cultural reformation and dominion, and is thankful for the many learning opportunities that her parents and her God have given her. She is blessed by having been surrounded with wonderful friends, wonderful books, wonderful teaching, and wonderful music for the entirety of her life. Ellen loves learning about God's sovereign hand in history, is amazed by God's providence manifested in her own life, and is excited to see what God will do in, through, and with her family in 2010.

The Mysterious Islands Original Soundtrack
This entire soundtrack is incredibly well done, but the one track that particularly impresses me is "Las Encantadas." Ben Botkin's work is masterful on all levels; the music is superbly orchestrated, powerful, and absolutely beautiful.
